Sociology Wiki Rules for Contributions and Discussions

  1. All Wiki contributions should be related to Sociology, the class or exam preparation.
  2. You are not permitted to allow another user to use your wiki username or password. You will be held responsible for any and all edits, comments or changes made under your wiki username.
  3. What you say on the Wiki "can and will" be used against you if your comments or contributions are inappropriate, disrespectful or in violation of school rules.
  4. When participating in a discussion, add your comments to one discussion train only. Do not start a new discussion unless instructed by Mr. Norberg or Miss DePoli.
  5. Only Sociology students are permitted to add to the Wiki.
  6. Do not delete anything from the Wiki without getting permission from Mr. Norberg.
  7. All Wiki discussion responses should be academic in nature and typed without too much slang or jargon. Do not turn the Wiki into your chat room.
  8. If you take information, a video, a picture or a direct quote from an outside source and add it to the Wiki, cite your source or provide the hyperlink of the site.
  9. You are not permitted to edit, manipulate or delete any files, hyperlinks, pictures or files added by Mr. Norberg.
  10. Work on your text in Word or some other word processing program and copy and paste it into Wiki pages or discussion responses. This will allow you to proof read and spell check before you add it to the Wiki.
